About

National Kaohsiung University of Hospitality and Tourism (NKUHT) is unique in its fostering elites for the hospitality industry in Taiwan,R.O.C. It has professional faculty, practical programs, advanced facilities, and a humane artistic campus culture.

In order to expand students’ worldview and increase their competitiveness, NKUHT has the“sandwich-style” instruction. The “sandwich-style” instruction refers to a one-year internship in local and overseas establishments, which provides Junior students a real-life work experience.

As of the academic year in 2021, this (the)University offers 5 postgraduate, 11 bachelors, and 2 international bachelors’ programs. Postgraduate programs include Ph.D. program in Tourism Management, International master’s program of Tourism and Hospitality, And three master’s programs in Hospitality Management , Tourism Management and Food Culture & Innovation.

The bachelor programs contain Hotel Management, Food & Beverage Management, Chinese Culinary Arts, Western Culinary Arts, Travel Management, Baking Technology & Management, Airline & Transport Service Management, Leisure & Recreation Management, Hospitality Management & M.I.C.E Marketing Management, Applied English, and Applied Japanese. International bachelors’ programs of Culinary Arts and Tourism Management.
