National Taipei University of Nursing and Health Sciences (NTUNHS) is Taiwan's first institute of higher learning for nursing and health related studies. Our university is not only a pioneer in the domain of nursing and health care but also the sole institution offering a doctoral nursing program among the vocational education system in Taiwan.
NTUNHS was founded in 1954 as the Taiwan Provincial Junior College of Nursing. In August 2010, the Ministry of Education approved the school's new name, the "National Taipei University of Nursing and Health Sciences," in recognition of the school's outstanding and continuing pedagogical achievements. NTUNHS has three colleges: the College of Nursing, the College of Health Technology, and the College of Human Development and Health. NTUNHS focuses on providing comprehensive health care education, enhancing healthcare quality, and taking care of every stage of human life cycle.
Since 2010, NTUNHS has been awarded and sponsored by Ministry of Education’s “Teaching Excellence Project” as recognition to NTUNHS’s dedication to cultivate top-quality health care professionals. Moreover, NTUNHS is awarded MOE’s “Model Technological University Project Grant”. NTUNHS is proudly ranked by Business Weekly Magazine and 104 Job Bank Corporation as Top 1 University with the highest college graduates employment rate in Taiwan.
NTUNHS has become a model for health care education through years of hard work and carefully planned expansion. Our university is a high quality academia institution that aims become a focal point for health care knowledge and a training center for Taiwan's next generation health care talents.

International students may apply for the Taiwan Scholarship offered by the government. Applicants who want to apply for pre-degree Mandarin Language Enrichment Program must apply for a degree program at the same time. You can check the website: http://english.moe.gov.tw/ct.asp?xItem=12482&CtNode=11364&mp=1 for detailed information. Applicants may apply from February 1st till end of March every year, at the Taiwan Overseas Mission.
